How far in advance do I need to book an FTL shipment?
We recommend booking 24–72 hours in advance for standard dry van lanes. Specialty equipment (reefer, flatbed, oversize) and tight timelines may require more lead time. That said, we can often find capacity with less notice — call us and we will tell you what is available.
How is FTL pricing different from LTL?
FTL is priced by the load, not by weight or freight class. Carriers quote a flat rate based on your lane, equipment type, and market conditions. This makes FTL pricing simpler — there are no freight class reclassifications or accessorial surprises common in LTL.
